I'm Viktorija — a Game Design student in Riga who designs mechanics, draws the concept art for them, and isn't afraid to open the Unity Editor and wire it all together.
I got into games the way most designers do — by wanting to build the thing I couldn't stop thinking about. That turned into a Game Design degree, a lot of late nights in the Unity Editor, and a habit of sketching every mechanic before I ever build it.
My strongest edge is that I don't just design on paper — I illustrate the world the mechanic lives in, and when needed, I'll go into the editor and help wire it up myself. That full loop, from concept sketch to playable prototype, is what I bring to a team.
Outside of coursework, I take freelance illustration commissions and I'm quick to pick up new tools — most of what's below, I taught myself.
A game prototype built to make financial literacy click through play rather than lectures — designed and submitted for Section X of the INVENTIO 2026 conference, where it took 1st place.
Concept art, illustration commissions, and character work are being added here shortly.
